Crazy Quilting

This patchwork technique is made of irregular patches combined with little or no regard to pattern.  This technique is fun and easy, and you can use up your scraps or use pieces from garments you are no longer using but evoke a sweet memory.  Many people have built crazy quilts with their children's baby clothes.  Techniques learned include sewing onto muslin foundations, machine and hand embroidering, and attaching the backing, quilting and binding.  Check out this link about the history of crazy quilting:

Cost of Class: $150 plus materials
